JUSTICE FOR LAI DAI HAN

Justice for Lai Dai Han gives a voice to victims of conflict-related sexual and gender-based violence across the world. We are committed to highlighting the suffering experienced by the Lai Dai Han – the dual heritage children of Vietnamese women raped by South Korean soldiers during the Vietnam War – and their mothers.

We are campaigning for an international investigation into these allegations, and for the international community to take real action to end sexual violence in conflict and hold perpetrators accountable.

Our work seeks to raise public awareness, allow political and community leaders to connect with survivors to understand their suffering first-hand, help students and young adults learn more about the issue of sexual violence, and create public art as a permanent reminder of their suffering and the work that still needs to be done.

We are working to support victims and their children worldwide, many of whom live in poor rural communities and suffer from low levels of literacy and poor access to education, healthcare and other social services.
